Over the last nine years, I've just come to see even deeper the value just come to see even deeper the value just come to see even deeper the value of what we gained at Summit with our of what we gained at Summit with our of what we gained at Summit with our classroom time and our chapel time classroom time and our chapel time classroom time and our chapel time combined. um our classroom time of combined. um our classroom time of combined. um our classroom time of learning and studying the word of God learning and studying the word of God learning and studying the word of God and our chapel time of seeking the and our chapel time of seeking the and our chapel time of seeking the presence of God and seeking the one whom presence of God and seeking the one whom presence of God and seeking the one whom we are learning about has proven to give we are learning about has proven to give we are learning about has proven to give give me such a firm foundation give me such a firm foundation give me such a firm foundation especially for the last seven years of especially for the last seven years of especially for the last seven years of working in ministry. And I have grown in gratitude even for this I have grown in gratitude even for this I have grown in gratitude even for this because I I see often even in the because I I see often even in the because I I see often even in the culture of the church today that the culture of the church today that the culture of the church today that the cross is talked about less and less and cross is talked about less and less and cross is talked about less and less and it being the focal point of the gospel it being the focal point of the gospel it being the focal point of the gospel is often diminished. And so having that is often diminished. And so having that is often diminished. And so having that study and that foundation of the study and that foundation of the study and that foundation of the importance of the cross and the blood of importance of the cross and the blood of importance of the cross and the blood of Jesus um being the focal point of the Jesus um being the focal point of the Jesus um being the focal point of the gospel and you can't take that out of gospel and you can't take that out of gospel and you can't take that out of the gospel um has been so valuable to me the gospel um has been so valuable to me the gospel um has been so valuable to me in our chapel time. Some of my favorite in our chapel time. Some of my favorite in our chapel time. Some of my favorite memories are having um missionaries and memories are having um missionaries and memories are having um missionaries and foreign ministers of the gospel come and foreign ministers of the gospel come and foreign ministers of the gospel come and share with us about their experience and share with us about their experience and share with us about their experience and what they're seeing across the world what they're seeing across the world what they're seeing across the world when it comes to the body of Christ and when it comes to the body of Christ and when it comes to the body of Christ and what the church is facing globally. And what the church is facing globally. And what the church is facing globally. And this just gave me and my classmates um this just gave me and my classmates um this just gave me and my classmates um such a broader perspective of what it is such a broader perspective of what it is such a broader perspective of what it is to follow Jesus outside of our American to follow Jesus outside of our American to follow Jesus outside of our American Western context. And not just gave me Western context. And not just gave me Western context. And not just gave me more gratitude for what I do have here more gratitude for what I do have here more gratitude for what I do have here in America, but also gave me um such an in America, but also gave me um such an in America, but also gave me um such an uncction to pray and even reach those uncction to pray and even reach those uncction to pray and even reach those who are lost and um have much less who are lost and um have much less who are lost and um have much less access to the gospel. It is so important access to the gospel. It is so important access to the gospel. It is so important for young people, especially this for young people, especially this for young people, especially this generation today, to have solid places generation today, to have solid places generation today, to have solid places to go to where they can seek the Lord to go to where they can seek the Lord to go to where they can seek the Lord and they can study the word, where and they can study the word, where and they can study the word, where they're removed from worldly they're removed from worldly they're removed from worldly distractions and they can hear the voice distractions and they can hear the voice distractions and they can hear the voice of God. And that is a place um like of God. And that is a place um like of God. And that is a place um like Summit. I think the the unique aspect of Summit. I think the the unique aspect of Summit.
