Summary

The sermon addresses the pervasive issue of anxiety and stress, particularly in "Generation Z" and beyond, due to a shift from play-based to phone-based childhoods and overprotection in the physical world while neglecting the virtual. Drawing from Jonathan Haidt's work, the speaker emphasizes that this anxiety is a universal modern experience, not an optional feeling. The concluding takeaway, hinted at by referencing Luke 8, suggests that scripture offers a divine perspective and solution to this widespread condition that is not optional for believers.
