The reason Jesus came is to bring rest | David Platt | God’s Good Design | #shorts #mbc

Summary

Jesus came to bring rest to our weary souls, a gift that neither human effort nor worldly pursuits can offer. Contrasting with man-made religions focused on human work, the gospel reveals Jesus accomplished the work necessary for soul restoration through his sinless life and sacrificial death. The practical takeaway is to cease depending on our own efforts and instead find rest and peace in God.
