Jesus responds to death Jesus responds to death Jesus responds to death with compassion with compassion with compassion and power. and power. and power. Yeah. I always think about in stories like I always think about in stories like this.

Okay, I can um Okay, I can um Okay, I can um where I can learn where I can learn where I can learn is what did Jesus' story show me about is what did Jesus' story show me about is what did Jesus' story show me about the character of God? Colossians 1 says the character of God? Colossians 1 says the character of God? Colossians 1 says he's the image of the invisible God. So, he's the image of the invisible God. So, the questions I have about God, I look the questions I have about God, I look the questions I have about God, I look to Jesus to answer and I can learn from to Jesus to answer and I can learn from to Jesus to answer and I can learn from his actions, but I also can learn from his actions, but I also can learn from his actions, but I also can learn from the people's responses to it to know the people's responses to it to know the people's responses to it to know Okay, how did they grieve? It's not like a "I'm feeling all that. It's not like a "I'm feeling all that. It's not like a "I'm feeling all these things. Let me like get myself these things. Let me like get myself these things. Like in this moment, this was just him moment, this was just him moment, this was just him being God. Like this And this is how he being God. Like this And this is how he being God. I I just sit in this and I'm don't know. I I just sit in this and I'm don't know. I I just sit in this and I'm like, "Wow. Like how many moments like like, "Wow. Like how many moments like have I experienced where like I didn't have I experienced where like I didn't have I experienced where like I didn't have the words to pray. I didn't I may have the words to pray. I didn't I may have the words to pray. I didn't I may not have even prayed. You know what I not have even prayed. You know what I not have even prayed. You know what I mean? Like I just I had accepted this is mean? Like I just I had accepted this is mean? Like I just I had accepted this is what it was, but what it was, but what it was, but in your compassion in your compassion in your compassion you produced you produced you produced in my life maybe what I needed in that in my life maybe what I needed in that in my life maybe what I needed in that space and as well as others space and as well as others space and as well as others um and other people's lives as well. And um and other people's lives as well. And um and other people's lives as well. And it just it it it's like, "Okay, Lord.

I have seen my nephew Liam be born 9 weeks early and my nephew Liam be born 9 weeks early and my nephew Liam be born 9 weeks early and the doctors say we really have no hope the doctors say we really have no hope the doctors say we really have no hope and and he had holes in his lungs and I and and he had holes in his lungs and I and and he had holes in his lungs and I saw him 12 weeks later go home with my saw him 12 weeks later go home with my saw him 12 weeks later go home with my brother and my sister-in-law brother and my sister-in-law brother and my sister-in-law >> Wow. >> Wow. >> Wow. >> and no scars on his lungs. I've seen things like that, but most often things like that, but most often things like that, but most often my prayers for healing and resurrection my prayers for healing and resurrection my prayers for healing and resurrection have come unanswered by my eyes.

Like, it was shocking and year ago. Like, it was shocking and year ago. Like, it was shocking and sudden with cancer sudden with cancer sudden with cancer and we prayed for his healing. We prayed and we prayed for his healing. We prayed and we prayed for his healing. There have been times where honest. There have been times where honest. There have been times where um you know like you're standing up to um you know like you're standing up to um you know like you're standing up to up up at the front for people to come up up at the front for people to come up up at the front for people to come and pray and pray and pray uh or for people to come up for prayer uh or for people to come up for prayer uh or for people to come up for prayer and I'm literally like just don't ask and I'm literally like just don't ask and I'm literally like just don't ask for prayer about healing or things like for prayer about healing or things like for prayer about healing or things like that. You know what I mean? Like I'll be that. You know what I mean? Like I'll be that. You know what I mean? Like I'll be praying about that ahead of time cuz I'm praying about that ahead of time cuz I'm praying about that ahead of time cuz I'm like Lord I don't want my lack of faith like Lord I don't want my lack of faith like Lord I don't want my lack of faith in this area to hinder what you may want in this area to hinder what you may want in this area to hinder what you may want to do for someone else.

I think when we see what is it Jehovah Rapha in scripture? what is it Jehovah Rapha in scripture? what is it Jehovah Rapha in scripture? Is that the one for healing? It's like when you see these instances it's like when you see these instances it's like when you see these instances it's like this is him revealing his nature to them this is him revealing his nature to them this is him revealing his nature to them and then that's when that's made known and then that's when that's made known and then that's when that's made known to us and I just haven't seen that up to us and I just haven't seen that up to us and I just haven't seen that up close for me to have an intimate close for me to have an intimate close for me to have an intimate relationship with that aspect of God relationship with that aspect of God relationship with that aspect of God yet. yet. yet. >> That's honest. >> That's honest. >> That's honest. >> So for me that's one of those areas >> So for me that's one of those areas >> So for me that's one of those areas where where where I don't know. Um and Steve's been fresh on my mind Um and Steve's been fresh on my mind Um and Steve's been fresh on my mind lately because it was lately because it was lately because it was about a year ago and um his wife moving about a year ago and um his wife moving about a year ago and um his wife moving back here and back here and back here and um I think about one of the last um um I think about one of the last um um I think about one of the last um things that I heard him say before he things that I heard him say before he things that I heard him say before he died was um died was um died was um I think about like all of the I think about like all of the I think about like all of the He grew up he grew up knowing Jesus and He grew up he grew up knowing Jesus and He grew up he grew up knowing Jesus and God and he said, "I think about all of God and he said, "I think about all of God and he said, "I think about all of the things that I've heard are true the things that I've heard are true the things that I've heard are true about God and um about God and um about God and um when I heard, 'You are going to die.'
