And I had a I personally had a huge misconception of personally had a huge misconception of personally had a huge misconception of the Holy Spirit when I walked in the the Holy Spirit when I walked in the the Holy Spirit when I walked in the Highlands. The reason is, and I'm not Highlands. The reason is, and I'm not Highlands. The reason is, and I'm not going to throw shade here, but the going to throw shade here, but the going to throw shade here, but the reason actually started back about four reason actually started back about four reason actually started back about four years earlier at an event at my high years earlier at an event at my high years earlier at an event at my high school called See You at the Pole.

And so, all of us had been inviting people so, all of us had been inviting people so, all of us had been inviting people for that day to get there early, come for that day to get there early, come for that day to get there early, come early before school and gather around early before school and gather around early before school and gather around the flag pole and pray. So, we were the flag pole and pray. So, we were the flag pole and pray. So, we were super excited. Um, but when we walked super excited. Um, but when we walked super excited. Um, but when we walked up, when I walked up that day to school, up, when I walked up that day to school, up, when I walked up that day to school, there was a group of Christians who had there was a group of Christians who had there was a group of Christians who had gotten there before us and they were gotten there before us and they were gotten there before us and they were actually already circled around the flag actually already circled around the flag actually already circled around the flag pole. Y'all know Whoville style, like pole. Y'all know Whoville style, like pole. Y'all know Whoville style, like they were holding hands and they were they were holding hands and they were they were holding hands and they were praying in tongues out loud. praying in tongues out loud. praying in tongues out loud. And I had never seen anything like that. And I had never seen anything like that. And I had never seen anything like that. And to me, it was strange. It was weird. And to me, it was strange. It was weird. and it and it and even the way they and it and it and even the way they and it and it and even the way they wouldn't let anyone else come in the wouldn't let anyone else come in the wouldn't let anyone else come in the whole time the whole seat at the poll whole time the whole seat at the poll whole time the whole seat at the poll they were just out loud praying and they were just out loud praying and they were just out loud praying and people just began to walk off and it was people just began to walk off and it was people just began to walk off and it was just a confusing moment and for years just a confusing moment and for years just a confusing moment and for years that really was the beginning of some that really was the beginning of some that really was the beginning of some misconceptions around what I'm teaching misconceptions around what I'm teaching misconceptions around what I'm teaching today and I for a long time I would have today and I for a long time I would have today and I for a long time I would have said I had a bad God experience I see at said I had a bad God experience I see at said I had a bad God experience I see at the poll but can I just that was not a the poll but can I just that was not a the poll but can I just that was not a bad God experience that was a bad human bad God experience that was a bad human bad God experience that was a bad human experience experience experience >> and for so many of us our misconceptions >> and for so many of us our misconceptions >> and for so many of us our misconceptions of the person of the Holy Spirit it has of the person of the Holy Spirit it has of the person of the Holy Spirit it has nothing to do with him it has to do with nothing to do with him it has to do with nothing to do with him it has to do with how we saw how we saw how we saw And maybe that's where you are today.
