So, I got home that night and I sat down and I thought, "Well, that TV's sat down and I thought, "Well, that TV's sat down and I thought, "Well, that TV's little little little and then I looked at the wall in front and then I looked at the wall in front and then I looked at the wall in front of my desk and I thought, you know, if I of my desk and I thought, you know, if I of my desk and I thought, you know, if I had one of those big screen gaming TVs, had one of those big screen gaming TVs, had one of those big screen gaming TVs, I could put it right here." You see, sometimes what happens enough. You see, sometimes what happens enough. And so what Paul is teaching us uh in this passage of teaching us uh in this passage of teaching us uh in this passage of scripture that you cannot base your scripture that you cannot base your scripture that you cannot base your happiness, you cannot base your joy upon happiness, you cannot base your joy upon happiness, you cannot base your joy upon the circumstances of life because they the circumstances of life because they the circumstances of life because they will change. And just because maybe you will change. And just because maybe you will change. And just because maybe you got bad circumstances does not mean that got bad circumstances does not mean that got bad circumstances does not mean that God loves you less. But what he's God loves you less. But what he's God loves you less. But what he's teaching us in the passage is that teaching us in the passage is that teaching us in the passage is that you're going to find contentment in you're going to find contentment in you're going to find contentment in Christ. That Christ is enough. that what he's doing in the passage helping the he's doing in the passage helping the he's doing in the passage helping the Philippians understand it's not about Philippians understand it's not about Philippians understand it's not about being self-sufficient. It's about being being self-sufficient. It's about being being self-sufficient. It's about being Christ sufficient that contentment. Now Christ sufficient that contentment.
