some of us are not oriented that way if some of us are not oriented that way if you're introvert all right you've got to you're introvert all right you've got to you're introvert all right you've got to make a specific effort in order to build make a specific effort in order to build make a specific effort in order to build relationships and maintain relationships relationships and maintain relationships relationships and maintain relationships because most introverts you know they because most introverts you know they because most introverts you know they enter a room they'll find a corner and enter a room they'll find a corner and enter a room they'll find a corner and just kind of go any introverts in just kind of go any introverts in just kind of go any introverts in here oh man we are in the minority here oh man we are in the minority here oh man we are in the minority what's going on what's going on what's going on all right yeah it just you know and some all right yeah it just you know and some all right yeah it just you know and some people are extrovert some people love people are extrovert some people love people are extrovert some people love being around people and you can't stop being around people and you can't stop being around people and you can't stop them and that's where they get their them and that's where they get their them and that's where they get their energy anybody know some folks like energy anybody know some folks like energy anybody know some folks like that that that anybody is a person like anybody is a person like anybody is a person like that yeah I mean they get charged up you that yeah I mean they get charged up you that yeah I mean they get charged up you know that's that's that's the way it is know that's that's that's the way it is know that's that's that's the way it is um but building relationships takes time um but building relationships takes time um but building relationships takes time you need to understand the value of it you need to understand the value of it you need to understand the value of it and I want to take two sessions today and I want to take two sessions today and I want to take two sessions today and the next time we get and the next time we get and the next time we get opportunity um to work around a very opportunity um to work around a very opportunity um to work around a very critical principle and of course uh critical principle and of course uh critical principle and of course uh teach you along the way in terms of your teach you along the way in terms of your teach you along the way in terms of your own personal growth and own personal growth and own personal growth and development here's a reality when you fail reality when you fail to understand and to understand and to understand and appreciate the appreciate the appreciate the value of what you value of what you value of what you have you will easily trade it for have you will easily trade it for have you will easily trade it for something

something something else I'm going try that one more else I'm going try that one more else I'm going try that one more time when you fail to appreciate and time when you fail to appreciate and time when you fail to appreciate and understand the value of what you understand the value of what you understand the value of what you have you will easily trade it for have you will easily trade it for have you will easily trade it for something else something else something else and if and if and if someone understands that value better someone understands that value better someone understands that value better than you then you then they will try to talk you out of they will try to talk you out of they will try to talk you out of it get you out of it life is a process it get you out of it life is a process it get you out of it life is a process of exchange we're always of exchange we're always of exchange we're always exchanging Jesus said so powerfully what exchanging Jesus said so powerfully what exchanging Jesus said so powerfully what will a man give in will a man give in will a man give in exchange for his life exchange for his life exchange for his life and every day we're engaged in some and every day we're engaged in some and every day we're engaged in some exchange which is the process of life exchange which is the process of life exchange which is the process of life we're giving up our time our talent our we're giving up our time our talent our we're giving up our time our talent our treasury our relationships our knowledge treasury our relationships our knowledge treasury our relationships our knowledge our understanding our our understanding our our understanding our experiences every day in some way we're experiences every day in some way we're experiences every day in some way we're engaged in engaged in engaged in exchange exchange exchange and again if you don't appreciate and and again if you don't appreciate and and again if you don't appreciate and understand the value of what you have understand the value of what you have understand the value of what you have you will easily trade it for something you will easily trade it for something you will easily trade it for something else how many of you ever experiened not

else how many of you ever experiened not else how many of you ever experiened not valuing something the way you should valuing something the way you should valuing something the way you should have and you found yourself trading it have and you found yourself trading it have and you found yourself trading it off only to now experience the pain of off only to now experience the pain of off only to now experience the pain of regret because you realize after the regret because you realize after the regret because you realize after the fact just how important that was fact just how important that was fact just how important that was it could have been a person thing it could have been a person thing it could have been a person thing relationship position whatever it may relationship position whatever it may relationship position whatever it may be so assessing the value of what we be so assessing the value of what we be so assessing the value of what we have is critical and sometimes we give have is critical and sometimes we give have is critical and sometimes we give too much too much too much value to something that is not as value to something that is not as value to something that is not as valuable I me know what I'm talking I me know what I'm talking about because everything in life is about because everything in life is about because everything in life is about making a value judgment every about making a value judgment every about making a value judgment every decision we make in life is a value decision we make in life is a value decision we make in life is a value judgment there's a wonderful passage in judgment there's a wonderful passage in judgment there's a wonderful passage in Hebrews where it says that Moses chose Hebrews where it says that Moses chose Hebrews where it says that Moses chose to to to suffer with his Hebrew brothers and suffer with his Hebrew brothers and suffer with his Hebrew brothers and sisters than to sisters than to sisters than to enjoy the pleasures of enjoy the pleasures of enjoy the pleasures of sin for a moment yes he understood that sin for a moment yes he understood that sin for a moment yes he understood that one was temporal temporary one was one was temporal temporary one was one was temporal temporary one was longterm

Insight should guide your value Insight should guide your value judgments judgments judgments value we're going to value we're going to value we're going to explore the intent of explore the intent of explore the intent of The Parables of Jesus in Matthew Chapter The Parables of Jesus in Matthew Chapter The Parables of Jesus in Matthew Chapter 13 but specifically one particular 13 but specifically one particular 13 but specifically one particular Parable which I want to Parable which I want to Parable which I want to extract today I want to give you extract today I want to give you extract today I want to give you perspective on what was perspective on what was perspective on what was going on on when a relationship is when a relationship is when a relationship is authentic and genuine it's reciprocal it's two ways not one it's two ways not one way it's way it's way it's reciprocal and this is essentially what reciprocal and this is essentially what reciprocal and this is essentially what Jesus meant when he said that there will Jesus meant when he said that there will Jesus meant when he said that there will be those of you who will say Lord we've be those of you who will say Lord we've be those of you who will say Lord we've cast out devils in your name we've done cast out devils in your name we've done cast out devils in your name we've done Miracles we've done all of this and yet Miracles we've done all of this and yet Miracles we've done all of this and yet I'm going to say depart from me I never I'm going to say depart from me I never I'm going to say depart from me I never knew you I remember remember in the knew you I remember remember in the knew you I remember remember in the early days of trying to understand that early days of trying to understand that early days of trying to understand that text you know I was understanding it text you know I was understanding it text you know I was understanding it through a limited uh framework and through a limited uh framework and through a limited uh framework and growth and development but essentially growth and development but essentially growth and development but essentially what he was saying is it's one thing for what he was saying is it's one thing for what he was saying is it's one thing for you to know Jesus it's another thing you to know Jesus it's another thing you to know Jesus it's another thing thing for him to know thing for him to know thing for him to know you and what I mean by that is to have you and what I mean by that is to have you and what I mean by that is to have an intimate interaction with him where an intimate interaction with him where an intimate interaction with him where his presence in your life is influencing

his presence in your life is influencing his presence in your life is influencing him influencing you him influencing you him influencing you rather very very important so he speaks rather very very important so he speaks rather very very important so he speaks of authenticity and and and and the need of authenticity and and and and the need of authenticity and and and and the need for relationships to be for relationships to be for relationships to be reciprocal one R relationships don't reciprocal one R relationships don't reciprocal one R relationships don't last last last long one-way relationships don't last long one-way relationships don't last long one-way relationships don't last long they can tend to be very long they can tend to be very long they can tend to be very transactional authentic relationships transactional authentic relationships transactional authentic relationships there's a reciprocity there's a give and there's a reciprocity there's a give and there's a reciprocity there's a give and take there's an exchange between the two take there's an exchange between the two take there's an exchange between the two that sets it that sets it that sets it off whatever you fail to value off whatever you fail to value off whatever you fail to value you will easily trade for something should then there's should then there's danger in the danger in the danger in the relationship because you could be relationship because you could be relationship because you could be tempted by something else if you don't tempted by something else if you don't tempted by something else if you don't value your husband you all getting quiet on me husband you all getting quiet on me here I understand what I'm talking about here I understand what I'm talking about here I understand what I'm talking about it it's it's it it's it's it it's it's true because whatever you value let's put it this way whatever you value let's put it this way whatever you appreciate in life increases in appreciate in life increases in appreciate in life increases in value amen I'm try that one more value amen I'm try that one more value amen I'm try that one more time whatever you appreciate in life
