And as I thought about that question, And as I thought about that question, And as I thought about that question, I'm reminded I'm reminded I'm reminded of an apostle named Peter in John of an apostle named Peter in John of an apostle named Peter in John chapter 21, chapter 21, chapter 21, [snorts] a couple of chapters prior to [snorts] a couple of chapters prior to [snorts] a couple of chapters prior to in John chapter 18.

And that's what I think morning prayer And that's what I think morning prayer And that's what I think morning prayer is. is. is. before we run to our calendars and for before we run to our calendars and for before we run to our calendars and for many of us our our meetings after this many of us our our meetings after this many of us our our meetings after this and our place of employment or our and our place of employment or our and our place of employment or our families before we get to our kids even families before we get to our kids even families before we get to our kids even before we get to our spouses before we get to our spouses before we get to our spouses we have to run to Jesus we have to run to Jesus we have to run to Jesus and if you continue reading the story and if you continue reading the story and if you continue reading the story you would then find something even more you would then find something even more you would then find something even more interesting interesting interesting is that yes Jesus would reinstate Peter is that yes Jesus would reinstate Peter is that yes Jesus would reinstate Peter but before Jesus reinstates Peter before but before Jesus reinstates Peter before but before Jesus reinstates Peter before any correction ction takes place. Jesus any correction ction takes place. Jesus any correction ction takes place. Jesus has breakfast with Peter and the has breakfast with Peter and the has breakfast with Peter and the disciples.

In my case, I expected this woman at the at at the antique this woman at the at at the antique this woman at the at at the antique store to say, "Pay up. You know, you store to say, "Pay up. You know, you store to say, "Pay up. You know, you don't get a get out of jail free card. don't get a get out of jail free card. don't get a get out of jail free card. It's not Monopoly. And Jesus gave Peter breakfast And Jesus gave Peter breakfast And Jesus gave Peter breakfast and restoration and restoration and restoration and purpose. and purpose. and purpose. And maybe that's the point that some of us keep that's the point that some of us keep that's the point that some of us keep carrying things that Jesus never asked carrying things that Jesus never asked carrying things that Jesus never asked us to continue to carry.
