So he moved here after school was done, but he was going to be school was done, but he was going to be school was done, but he was going to be on the wrestling team at Mil Creek and on the wrestling team at Mil Creek and on the wrestling team at Mil Creek and they had practice over the summer. And so he was there for, you know, wrestling so he was there for, you know, wrestling so he was there for, you know, wrestling practice. And there were two other guys practice. And so they talked to this guy ministry. And so they talked to this guy ministry. And so they talked to this guy and they said, "Hey man, you should come and they said, "Hey man, you should come and they said, "Hey man, you should come with us, uh, to Wednesdays and you with us, uh, to Wednesdays and you with us, uh, to Wednesdays and you should come with us to camp." He said,

And God has been convicting her retreat. And God has been convicting her retreat. And God has been convicting her about being more bold in her faith, more about being more bold in her faith, more about being more bold in her faith, more more public with her faith. And so she's been wrestling with like actually going been wrestling with like actually going been wrestling with like actually going public by getting baptized. As she was wrestling through that, praying through that, she was also praying through that, she was also praying through that, she was also praying for her dad cuz she knew that praying for her dad cuz she knew that praying for her dad cuz she knew that her dad had that same step to take of her dad had that same step to take of her dad had that same step to take of going public with his faith. And what I love about these stories isn't what I love about these stories isn't what I love about these stories isn't just that those students, those ones just that those students, those ones just that those students, those ones surrendered their lives to Jesus. And by the way, I know that interrupted. He has an interruption to his interruption and interruption to his interruption and interruption to his interruption and this and by the way this interruption this and by the way this interruption this and by the way this interruption was a big deal because of who was a big deal because of who was a big deal because of who interrupted him. It was a woman who was interrupted him. It was a woman who was interrupted him. It was a woman who was bleeding who touched him and according bleeding who touched him and according bleeding who touched him and according to the ceremonial you know laws of the to the ceremonial you know laws of the to the ceremonial you know laws of the day this made him you know unclean in day this made him you know unclean in day this made him you know unclean in like a hundred different ways. This was like a hundred different ways. This was like a hundred different ways. This was a big deal. So in other words, this a big deal. So in other words, this a big deal. We don't even see who is in front of us. We don't even see who is in front of us. We don't even see who is interrupting us and what they are interrupting us and what they are interrupting us and what they are dealing with. By the way, parents, and dealing with. You get to the end of a long day and you're to the end of a long day and you're to the end of a long day and you're tired and you're overwhelmed and you're tired and you're overwhelmed and you're tired and you're overwhelmed and you're exhausted and you, you know, maybe exhausted and you, you know, maybe exhausted and you, you know, maybe you're still thinking about work or you're still thinking about work or you're still thinking about work or you're thinking about things that you you're thinking about things that you you're thinking about things that you got to do tomorrow. You're thinking got to do tomorrow. You're thinking got to do tomorrow. You're thinking about all that needs to be done around about all that needs to be done around about all that needs to be done around the house and then our kids run up to us

In fact, if we can just be honest, fact, if we can just be honest, fact, if we can just be honest, sometimes the reason we don't see our sometimes the reason we don't see our sometimes the reason we don't see our kids is because this is where we're kids is because this is where we're kids is because this is where we're looking looking looking and and by the way, I'm talking to me and and by the way, I'm talking to me and and by the way, I'm talking to me too. Our kids are like reaching out to too. Our kids are like reaching out to too. Our kids are like reaching out to us and we're like, "Not now. I'm busy." us and we're like, "Not now. It starts with getting home and It starts with getting home and It starts with getting home and recognizing that God's got ministry for recognizing that God's got ministry for recognizing that God's got ministry for you to do at home right there with your you to do at home right there with your you to do at home right there with your kids, kids, kids, looking at them, seeing their pain, looking at them, seeing their pain, looking at them, seeing their pain, their hurt, their hurt, their hurt, their baggage. And by the way, every their baggage. And by the way, every their baggage. And by the way, every time a one interrupts you, it's the same time a one interrupts you, it's the same time a one interrupts you, it's the same thing for them. They've got their own thing for them. They've got their own thing for them. They've got their own story. They've got their own past.

And he saw the noisy crowd interruption. And he saw the noisy crowd interruption. And he saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, which by the and people playing pipes, which by the and people playing pipes, which by the way, the reason that it was a noisy way, the reason that it was a noisy way, the reason that it was a noisy crowd with people playing pipes is cuz crowd with people playing pipes is cuz crowd with people playing pipes is cuz this was an actual funeral. remember she this was an actual funeral. remember she this was an actual funeral. remember she had died and so they started the had died and so they started the had died and so they started the funeral. And can you imagine being the mom or the dad in you imagine being the mom or the dad in you imagine being the mom or the dad in this moment? And it's like the synagogue this moment? And it's like the synagogue leader who was like, I kind of thought leader who was like, I kind of thought leader who was like, I kind of thought he could do it, but he actually did it.

Of course, news spread through all that course, news spread through all that course, news spread through all that region. But you know what they weren't region. But you know what they weren't region. Because think about it for interruption. Because think about it for interruption. Because think about it for a second. That physical healing miracle, a second. That physical healing miracle, a second. That physical healing miracle, well, it always starts with the well, it always starts with the well, it always starts with the interruption of a diagnosis interruption of a diagnosis interruption of a diagnosis that interrupts someone's life. And that interrupts someone's life. And that interrupts someone's life. And that's the opening chapter to the that's the opening chapter to the that's the opening chapter to the miracle.

See, miracles always start with interruptions, which always start with interruptions, which always start with interruptions, which means maybe sometimes an interruption is means maybe sometimes an interruption is means maybe sometimes an interruption is actually the start of what God might be actually the start of what God might be actually the start of what God might be doing to perform a miracle. It's when God takes a heart of stone and he makes God takes a heart of stone and he makes God takes a heart of stone and he makes it a heart of flesh. It's when he takes it a heart of flesh. It's when he takes someone who is spiritually dead and he someone who is spiritually dead and he someone who is spiritually dead and he makes them spiritually alive. That is makes them spiritually alive. That is makes them spiritually alive. That is the domino miracle that sets off every the domino miracle that sets off every the domino miracle that sets off every other miracle is when someone surrenders other miracle is when someone surrenders other miracle is when someone surrenders their life to Jesus. In fact, this is their life to Jesus. In fact, this is their life to Jesus. In fact, this is the miracle that Jesus died for. Which the miracle that Jesus died for. Which the miracle that Jesus died for. Which means when your one interrupts you, means when your one interrupts you, means when your one interrupts you, it might just be the start of that it might just be the start of that it might just be the start of that conversation that changes things. It conversation that changes things. It conversation that changes things. It might be the start of that relationship might be the start of that relationship might be the start of that relationship that changes everything. It might just that changes everything. What if that was the start of a miracle if that was the start of a miracle if that was the start of a miracle in your one's life? in your one's life? in your one's life? When you're at the ball field, you know, When you're at the ball field, you know, When you're at the ball field, you know, and you're just trying to watch the game and you're just trying to watch the game and you're just trying to watch the game and you're trying to watch your kid play and you're trying to watch your kid play and you're trying to watch your kid play and support him and, you know, you're and support him and, you know, you're and support him and, you know, you're just watching it and but then that other just watching it and but then that other just watching it and but then that other kid's parent comes and sits down right kid's parent comes and sits down right kid's parent comes and sits down right next to you and just starts yapping and next to you and just starts yapping and next to you and just starts yapping and you're like, "Dude, can't I'm just you're like, "Dude, can't I'm just you're like, "Dude, can't I'm just trying to watch the game." What if what if what if what if that's the start of a if what if what if that's the start of a if what if what if that's the start of a miracle? Parents, we already talked about this. What if your kid interrupting long day. What if your kid interrupting long day. What if your kid interrupting you is the start of that conversation you is the start of that conversation you is the start of that conversation that you've been praying for? And uh I got my master's degree in apologetics got my master's degree in apologetics got my master's degree in apologetics because I've had doubts about God and because I've had doubts about God and because I've had doubts about God and about the reliability of the Bible. And I was like, "Dude, we're flying back on was like, "Dude, we're flying back on was like, "Dude, we're flying back on Friday." And then here's what's cool. He Friday." And then here's what's cool. He Friday." And then here's what's cool. He got excited and he was like, "Hey, what got excited and he was like, "Hey, what got excited and he was like, "Hey, what if we're on the same flight back?" And if we're on the same flight back?" And if we're on the same flight back?" And it's like, I've been talking to this it's like, I've been talking to this it's like, I've been talking to this atheist about Jesus for 3 hours and he atheist about Jesus for 3 hours and he atheist about Jesus for 3 hours and he wants to be on the flight back. That's wants to be on the flight back. That's wants to be on the flight back. That's amazing. So, we get out our, you know, amazing. So, we get out our, you know, amazing. So, we get out our, you know, Delta apps, we both look and we're on Delta apps, we both look and we're on Delta apps, we both look and we're on the same flight back. Isn't that the same flight back. And then Jesus, his very life was interrupted Jesus, his very life was interrupted Jesus, his very life was interrupted when they when they sentenced him to a when they when they sentenced him to a when they when they sentenced him to a crime that he didn't commit. And then Jesus died the death that we should have Jesus died the death that we should have Jesus died the death that we should have died. Laid down his life for me and for died. You're not sure that you buy into about. You're not sure that you buy into all of it. You're just wanting to know all of it. You're just wanting to know all of it. You're just wanting to know more. Maybe it was your student that neighbor. Wait, Jesus knows what I've done and he loves me knows what I've done and he loves me knows what I've done and he loves me anyway. And maybe you're starting to get anyway.
